About NMI

NMI is the global missions advocate in every local church nurturing a spirit of missions and mobilizing us into action.

Nazarene Missions International (NMI) is the global missions advocacy arm of the Church of the Nazarene, helping local churches like ours stay connected to what God is doing around the world. Through prayer, education, giving, and personal connection with missionaries, we cultivate a heart for missions in every generation.

For more information on NMI, see the contact info and Links to information on the Church of the Nazarene NMI Website below.
I would love to chat about missions and how you can nurture a spirit of mission in your church.  Email me!

Our district NMI works to inspire and equip churches to support global evangelism efforts—whether through special offerings like the World Evangelism Fund and Alabaster Offering, missionary partnerships, or prayer for needs across the globe. Together, we participate in the Great Commission by being the local church in mission everywhere.

The Newman Family
Serving In Slovenia, Eurasia Region

How many times were you told about Jesus before you believed?
Around the globe there are still 17 thousand unreached people groups. An unreached people group is defined as a people group with less than 2% evangelical Christian. Many people, still today, can go their whole lives without hearing the Gospel. It is the heart of the Newman’s to reach the unreached with the good news of Jesus!
They began serving overseas in Mongolia (2012-2013), then transitioned to Thailand (2015-2023). They now serve the Church of the Nazarene on the Eurasia region. They moved to Slovenia in 2023 to share Jesus with those around them and eventually plant a church.
The Unreached are still unreached because they have limited opportunity to hear the Gospel. They’ve grown up Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu, Animist or Atheist in a community that has the same world view.
No one should live their entire lives without getting to hear about what Jesus has done for them. We believe that every person should have the opportunity to hear the Gospel. With 137 million people who still haven’t heard, the task is huge. More laborers for the harvest field is needed!
You can get involved with ministry in the Eurasia region by praying, giving financially, or coming and serving. If you would like to be involved in any of these ways, feel free to contact the Newmans and they would be happy to tell you more.
Everyone should have an opportunity to hear the Gospel.
